Technology Transfer for Cloud Seeding
From operational experience to local autonomy
Based on its operational experience in Cloud Seeding, Mettech offers structured technology transfer programs that enable countries and organizations to develop their own cloud seeding capabilities.
The program is designed to provide full technical and operational autonomy, allowing institutions to design, manufacture, operate, and maintain cloud seeding systems with locally trained personnel.
Instead of permanent reliance on external operators, Mettech supports the creation of sustainable in-country capacity.
A structured 9 to 12-month program offering long-term autonomous operational capability.
From Operation to Autonomy
Unlike traditional providers, Mettech combines its operational experience in cloud seeding with proprietary technology development and capacity building.
All Mettech solutions are based on proven technologies, consolidated scientific principles, and transparent operational processes.
Proprietary Cloud Seeding Technology
Focus on Long-Term Sustainability
Mettech offers integrated Cloud Seeding programs covering the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of systems.

Frequently Asked Questions about Weather Modification
Answers based on scientific evidence and our operational experience in precipitation stimulation programs.
What is the actual effectiveness of cloud seeding?
Our programs and historical measurements indicate an average precipitation increase of 15% in target areas, depending on the meteorological conditions of each season.
What material is used for stimulation?
We use a Silver Iodide solution, produced under strict quality standards. It is the most efficient and safe nucleating agent for cold cloud stimulation.
What does Technology Transfer consist of?
It is a model in which Mettech designs and installs the generator network, but trains the contracting institution so they can operate and manage the program themselves over the long term.
How does glacier conservation work?
It is a pilot technology aimed at artificially increasing the snowpack on glaciers during the winter. This extra layer acts as an insulator, delaying melting and extending the glacier’s lifespan.
